What are your suncatchers made from?
Each collection is thoughtfully designed using carefully selected materials.
The Harmony Collection combines acrylic bicone beads with precision-cut glass hearts and precision-cut glass drops.
The Facet Collection is created entirely from precision-cut glass components.
The Signature Collection features our premium handcrafted designs using carefully selected materials.
Are your suncatchers handmade?
Yes. Every Suncatcher Ambience piece is individually handmade in New Zealand with care and attention to detail.
What does The Alchemy of Light mean?
The Alchemy of Light is the inspiration behind every Suncatcher Ambience creation.
As natural sunlight interacts with each carefully cut facet, it is reflected and refracted into an ever-changing display of light. This beautiful transformation is at the heart of every design, bringing warmth, brilliance and ambience into your home.
Do your suncatchers create rainbows?
When placed in direct sunlight, the precision-cut glass facets capture, reflect and refract natural light. Depending on the design, the angle of the sun and the surrounding environment, you may also see beautiful rainbow reflections dancing throughout your space.
Where should I hang my suncatcher?
For the best display, hang your suncatcher in a bright window where it can receive direct sunlight. As the light changes throughout the day, so too will the reflections it creates.
Are your suncatchers suitable for outdoor use?
Our suncatchers are designed primarily for indoor display. If displayed outdoors, we recommend placing them in a sheltered location protected from strong winds and harsh weather.
Will my suncatcher look exactly like the photograph?
Because every piece is individually handmade, slight variations in bead placement and colour may occur. These subtle differences are part of the handcrafted nature of each design and make every suncatcher uniquely yours.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes.
New Zealand: Estimated delivery is 1–3 business days via CourierPost or NZ Post.
International: Estimated delivery is 7–10 business days.

How is my suncatcher packaged?
Every order is carefully packaged to help protect the glass components during transit, ensuring it arrives safely and is ready to enjoy or gift.
Can I send a suncatcher as a gift?
Absolutely. Suncatcher Ambience creations make thoughtful gifts for birthdays, housewarmings, anniversaries, weddings, or simply to brighten someone's day.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your parcel. Include your order number along with photographs of the item and its packaging so we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
How do I clean my suncatcher?
Simply wipe the glass and acrylic components with a soft, dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
Will the colours fade over time?
Under normal indoor conditions, your suncatcher is designed to provide lasting beauty. To help preserve its appearance, avoid prolonged exposure to harsh outdoor conditions.

Can I request a custom colour?
Absolutely. If you're looking for a colour that isn't currently available, please contact us using the contact form.
We'll happily let you know whether we can create your preferred colour using our available glass bead collection. As every piece is individually hand assembled, custom colour requests are considered on a case-by-case basis.
